I call it the Qantas moment … though i am not currently on the plane (But if i am ever feeling homesick the Qantas song kills me… Anyway,

Every time I visit China, away from my beautiful family, wonderful friends and day to day demands of running 2 businesses, I have a few moments to breathe.

This allows me a rare moment of insight into my life and how bloody good it is.

In this amazing place I have watched people with about 1 one hundredth of what I have smile at me as though their life is as complete as it can be…

They live very simply and eat very rustic, have a profound respect for their government and are very proud of their country.

I am also aware of the more bizarre aspects of their life but feel their clarity is quite profound…

So in my rare moment of clarity and as a gesture to my very good friends, my beautiful family, our wonderful customers and our fortunate lives, I send you big hugs, and want you to know I am glad you are part of my life
